Read the sermon text: Luke 12:13-34
Read the sermon summary: Last Sunday we saw three dangers that Jesus' disciples will face on their way to Jerusalem. They will face dangers of hypocrisy, personal harm, and denying Jesus. In our passage for this Sunday, we see this continued theme of remaining vigilant. In addition to the similarities in our passage to that of last week, we also see a new theme emerge, namely, that of treasure. How many times do you see this word repeated? What themes or words are repeated from last Sunday's passage? What contrast does Jesus give related to the location of one's treasure? Where is your treasure?
